Christie's auctioneer François de Ricqles (C) proceeds with the auction of a rabbit head, a Chinese imperial bronze part of a prized art collection assembled by Yves Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Berge over half a century on February 25, 2009 at the Grand Palais in Paris. One of the world's great private collections, it takes in masterpieces by Picasso, Mondrian and Matisse, old masters, Art Deco gems, bronzes, enamels and antiques. Two looted Chinese bronzes sold for 15.7 million euros (20.3 million dollars) each to anonymous telephone bidders at the Yves Saint Laurent art sale on Wednesday, despite protests from Beijing.
