New recruit Nery Castillo signs autographs 09 August 2007 for young fans during his presentation at his new football club Shakhtar Donetsk in the eastern Ukrainian city of Donetsk. On 31 July 2007 Castillo signed a five year contract with the FC Shakhtar Donetsk on a transfer fee believed to be in the region of 15 million euros from Olympiacos Piraeus.
