Dutch member of Parliament and leader of the far-right Party for Freedom (PVV) Geert Wilders (C) raises his glass in a cafe during a visit to the town of Volendam, on March 3, 2017, ahead of March 15 general elections.
Wilders and his far-right Freedom Party said March 1 that they would resume their public activities after suspending them last week because of a security scare. Wilders and his party halted all election activities the prior week after a police officer of Moroccan descent was arrested for allegedly leaking information about Wilders's movements to a Moroccan crime gang.
