Farmers from all over Greece arrived in Thessaloniki, outside of the international EXPO facilities, were Zootechnia agricultural trade fair takes place those days. Farmers arrived in the city center with busses but also with 40 tractors. They blocked the traffic downtown. After a few speeches they tried to get in the fair but riot police didn't allow them, so there were some fights.
