SAMARRA, Iraq: A general view shows angry demonstrators gathering outside the bombed holy shrine of al-Hadi in the Iraqi northern city of Samarra, 22 February 2006. Bombers struck a celebrated Shiite mausoleum in Samarra, north of Baghdad, bringing down part of its celebrated golden dome, police said. The attack was seen as likely to further raise tension between the majority Shiite and minority Sunni communities in the country at a time when political factions bicker over the formation of a 'national unity' government.
