Terschelling, NETHERLANDS: People walk 10 February 2006 on the Dutch island of Terschelling, part of the Wadden-islandgroup in the northern part of the Netherlands, among thousands of shoes washed on the beach, drawing crowds of treasure-hunting residents. The shoes came from one of about ten containers that fell from the P&O Nedlloyd ship Mondriaan, which got caught in a storm.
