CAIRO, EGYPT: Unemployed workers of the asbestos Ora Misr company gather in a shack outside the closed factory in the industrial Cairo northern suburb of 10th of Ramadan to demand back up wages and compensations, 26 March 2005. Many of their comrades have already been swept away by disease but the workers of this asbestos factory are refusing to suffer the same fate without putting up a fight and their struggle for compensation and dignity is gaining momentum. The incriminated factory, has had his firm closed several times since 2002 over his failure to conform with safety standards.
