(Original Caption) Barbara Stanwyck lets her hair and a few conventional bars down, in Samuel Goldwyn's, "Ball of Fire," in which she plays the role of "Sugar Puss" O'Shea, a strip-tease dancer. The role is provided by Charles Brackett and Billy Wilder, who have provided similarly glamorous but earthy roles for Greta Garbo, Claudette colbert and Olivia de Havilland.
