ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN:  Chief of a religious party Jaish-e-Mohammad Maulana Masood Azhar (R), a militant released from an Indian jail in 1999 in exchange for Indian airliner hostages, addresses a meeting of Pakistan's religious and political parties in Islamabad, 26 August 2001, against the UN monitors. Azhar said we have to continue Jehad (holy war) in Afghanistan and Kashmir against the enemies of the Islam. Religious and political parties leaders asked the government to stop the UN plan of monitors at Pakistan and Afghanistan borders to check the sanctions against the Taliban militia and assured their full support with Taliban.
