The gun battle ended on Monday with the killing of three militants holed up inside a government building on the outskirts of Srinagar, an Indian army officer said, adding  it was trying to ascertain the identity of the slain militants. The militants had taken refuge in the building after ambushing a bus carrying personnel of the Indian paramilitary force, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
