CANNOCK, ENGLAND - JULY 31: The headstones of World War One German soldiers sit in the Cannock Chase German War Cemetery on July 31, 2014 in Cannock, England. Cannock Chase German War Cemetery nestles in the woods of Staffordshire's Cannock Chase and is the only German cemetery in the UK. The cemetery, managed by the German War Graves Commission, contains 2,143 WWI deceased soldiers, 2,786 of which are from WWII. It is estimated that there is still over 1,000 German graves in commonwealth war grave sites across the British Isles.
