CARACAS, VENEZUELA - JULY 23: Centro Financiero Confinanzas, or Tower of David, is an unfinished and abandoned (since 1994) skycraper downtown Caracas wich was squattered in 2007. The government announced a mass eviction of the vertical slum, where more than a thousand families live organized in "comunas" and built their spaces with raw constructions materials on the unfinished structure. The tower habitants will move to several new housing complex under the Gran Misión Vivienda project. Neighbors of the area complains the tower became a refuge of thieves and criminals and a symbol of the invasions of private property allowed under the rule of Chávez.
