29th May 1973:  Scottish boxer Ken Buchanan, British lightweight champion, in training at Miami Beach, Florida. An ex-carpenter from Edinburgh, Buchanan won the A.B.A featherweight championship before turning professional and went on to win the world lightweight title in 1970.
