BOULDER, COLORADO--JANUARY 28, 2005--A University of Colorado freshman (who requested she not be identified) holds a container of Vicodin in her dorm room at the Boulder campus. The Vicoden was taken from her mother's stash. This student also deals illicit prescription drugs to other students. Rather than take it orally, she crushes the pills and snorts lines on her desk. She says she snorts it to get it into her system faster and keep it "in her brain" instead of upsetting her stomach if she ingested it.
