DENVER, CO, AUGUST, 9, 2005 - Wearing bright green surgical gloves, Collections and Installations Assistant Juhl<cq> Wojahn,<cq> right, and Art Handler Charlie<cq> Pietraszewski<cq> carefully lift a beautiful wool Navajo rug and carry it across the textile gallery at the Denver Art Museum. They gently hang the weaving on a wall, surrounded by more than a dozen other Navajo works. The exhibit, "Blanket Statements"<cq> opening Aug. 13,<cq> includes examples of a single decade in centuries old works of art. Wojahn says his favorite rug is red with a geometric pattern titled Chief Style Revival Rug. "I like the simple asthetics of it."
