08_03_03_CHERRY CREEK STATE PARK, CO-- Over 2,300 women <cq> took part in the 2003 Danskin Women's Triathlon Series <cq> at Cherry Creek State Park <cq>. The Danskin-owned series is celebrating it's 14th year <cq>. The triathlon is a .75k swim <cq>, 20k Bike <cq> and 5k run <cq>. The event will race through 8 major cities on this year's tour <cq>. They are Orlando, Fl <cq>, Austin , TX <cq>, Sacramento, CA <cq>, Chicagoland <cq>, Boston, MA <cq>, Denver, CO <cq>, Seattle, WA <cq> and New York City, NY <cq>. The race started at 7:00 am with the swim <cq>. There were 26 waves of participants at the start. The start was a staggered start to keep from having too many people in the water at one time.
