MADRID, SPAIN - DECEMBER 17: Two technicians control the only MRI-guided molecular precision radiotherapy system in Spain, at the Carlos III Hospital, on December 17, 2021, in Madrid, Spain. These technicians control the radiotherapy apparatus from another room to avoid radiation. This equipment allows to perform at the same time a high-field magnetic resonance imaging and to execute a precision radiotherapy treatment on the oncology patient. A technique that performs a diagnosis in real time and works on the tumor directly without impacting healthy tissues. This new system has been launched in facilities of the Carlos III public hospital, attached to the Hospital Universitario La Paz. (Photo By Alberto Ortega/Europa Press via Getty Images)
