NSW recorded 1,351 new COVID-19 cases and 12 deaths in the last 24 hours, as lockdown restrictions continue across Sydney and some regional areas returned to lockdown following new cases. COVID-19 restrictions eased slightly this week for people in NSW who are fully vaccinated, with up to five people now allowed to gather outdoors. The eased restrictions only apply to people outside the 12 local government areas of concern who have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
