TAIZ, YEMEN - DECEMBER 23: Soldiers take security measures at the Al Jamaliya neighborhood of Taiz governorate, in south-western Yemen, on December 23, 2018. Yemenis in Taiz have been seeing some of the heaviest life conditions since the city has been besieged by Houthis in 2015. Yemen has been wracked by violence since 2014, when the Houthi rebels overran much of the country and the crisis escalated in 2015 when a Saudi-led coalition launched a devastating air campaign aimed at rolling back Houthi gains. The truce between pro-government forces and Houthi rebels comes after a deal was clinched on December 6 in Stockholm, Sweden during UN-sponsored peace talks between Yemens warring parties.
