REDCAR, UNITED KINGDOM - NOVEMBER 04: Fishing boats sit in Paddy's Hole at South Gare Fisherman's Association on the Tees estuary on November 4, 2010 in Redcar, United Kingdom. The historic huts beginnings are lost in the midst of time and are used to store fishermans equipment. Legend has it that a group of local men approached the landlord at the time, Lord Zetland, asking if the fishermen could build the huts. He stipulated that they must be painted in green and and no women between 8pm and the crack of dawn- a law that is still in the associations rule book but not strictly enforced. The huts cost the members GBP 25 rent per year. The bolt holes have been in some families for generations and kitted out with woodburning stoves, sinks and generators.
