The Bearer Party take the coffin of the Duke of Windsor from the aircraft to the hearse at RAF Benson, UK, with the Duke and Duchess of Kent representing HM The Queen, UK, 31st May 1972. The Duke of Windsor made his final journey home to Britain when the Duke's body was flown to RAF Benson in Oxfordshire in the aircraft of The Queen's Flight from Paris. A full military parade was mounted at RAF Benson to greet the coffin. The coffin will be placed in the tiny church at the camp, and after dark it will be taken by road to Windsor.
