Clashes erupted in many parts of the Kashmir Valley after Friday prayers as Kashmiri Muslims assembled outside mosques chanting for pro Kashmir freedom and anti-Indian slogans. Indian forces used teargas shells, pellets and rubber bullets to disperse the Kashmir Muslim protesters. Dozens of protesting youths and a forces personnel were injured, but police said no serious injury to anyone has been reported from anywhere in the Valley. Dissenting leaders called for protests after Friday prayers against the killing of three Kashmiri civilians in clashes with the Indian government forces in Budgam district on Tuesday.
