29 SEP 1988: CHRISTIAN PLAZIAT OF FRANCE CLEARS THE BAR IN THE POLE VAULT DISCIPLINE IN THE DECATHLON AT THE 1988 OLYMPIC GAMES IN SEOUL. PLAZIAT HAD A BEST VAULT OF 4.90 METRES AND FINISHED THE COMPETITION IN 5TH PLACE.
