Nouakchott, MAURITANIA: TO GO WITH AFP STORY by Christophe Parayre - The quality of cheese made from camels milk is checked 30 March 2007, in the "Tiviski" dairy company headed by English born Mauritanian Nancy Abeiderrahmane, who has been battling with EU regulations for 13 years to commercialise her products in Europe. Cheese is not eaten in Mauritania as the locals assume it is milk that has 'gone off'. Camels milk is three times richer in Vitamin C than cows milk.
