A unique technique employed for fishermen in Kashmir to catch fish in Anchar lake in Kashmir is Tchay-e- gard shikar (shadow Fishing). In this technique the fisherman camouflage their presence by creating a safe refuge for the fish by forming refuge of reeds over them.
