Displaced refugees are the "lost generation in Afghanistan" with children who have been deprived of education due to conflict and displacement, the United Nations said in a report on October 20 in Kabul. Over the first ten months of 2016, at least 323,000 civilians were displaced by conflict across the country, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the human rights of internally displaced persons, Chaloka Beyani said after his 10-day mission in Afghanistan. / AFP / SHAH MARAI (Photo credit should read SHAH MARAI/AFP/Getty Images)
