BAGROO VILLAGE, PAKISTAN - OCTOBER 29:  Pakistani children laugh as a USAID helicopter lands for a distribution October 29, 2005 in Bagroo village, Bali Mang Chattar Plains in the remote Pakistan controlled Kashmir. The village of 700 people was severely damaged. Mercy Corps and USAID distributed tents and other relief goods to the village. The current death toll is now believed to be over 55,000 from the South Asian earthquake that happened 3 weeks ago. Over 3 million people are without proper shelter and aid organizations including the United Nations (UN) are warning that thousands could die in remote mountainous regions as winter approaches.
