(Original Caption) Sixteen year old Prince Juan Carlos of Bourbon, is said by informed monarchist sources to be seriously considered by General Franco as his eventual successor. In letters to the Prince's father, Don Juan, Franco is said to have suggested that Juan Carlos continue his higher education in Spain so that he might be prepared for an eventual "return of the monarchy."
