Priests and bishops attend a canonization mass for Vincenzo Grossi, an Italian priest and founder of the Institute of the Daughters of the Oratory, Maria of the Immaculate Conception, a Spanish superior general of the Sisters of the Company of the Cross, French couple Louis and Zelie Martin, parents of St Therese de Lisieux, on October 18, 2015 at St Peter's square in Vatican. Blessed Louis and Zelie Martin, the parents of St. Therese of Lisieux, are canonized today while the Synod on the Family is underway in Rome. The Martins will be the first married couple in the history of the Church to be declared saints at the same time. The Pope had recognized a miracle attributed to the couple on March 18, 2015.
