21st November 1918:  Viscount Curzon (cinematographer) films the surrender of the German fleet at Scapa Flow in the Orkney Islands. The German ships were scuttled by their crews on 21st June 1919, one week before the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, to prevent Allied Forces using the vessels.
