Employees of the FagorBrandt factory gathered outside the factory in Vendome, central France, leave the site after the announcement of the bankruptcy of the French subsidiary of the Spanish electrical appliance maker Fagor, on November 6, 2013 after an extraordinary Group Central Committee held at the same time at the company's headquarters outside Paris. FagorBrandt filed for bankruptcy and its application into receivership. Fagor, employing 5,700 people worldwide, slid closer to bankruptcy on October 31, 2013 as its Polish subsidiary filed for protection from its creditors.
