Greek army tanks parade in Thessaloniki on October 28, 2013, during the military parade marking Greece's National 'Oxi ' (No) Day, commemorating Greece's refusal to surrender to Benito Mussolini's Italy in 1940 during World War II. The parade was held under tight security after celebrations in 2011 were disrupted by anti-austerity protesters. A dispute had already arisen within the government earlier this month after the defence minister decided to bring back tanks to the parade, three years after they were removed to save costs.
