The lefse should have a nice brown "Freckling" if they are perfectly cooked. Beverly King and her husband Robert have been running a small and highly successful lefse making business in Wheatridge. Lefse is a traditional norwegian potato bread that is served during holidays in Norway. She also makes heart shaped waffles and sells highly coveted lingonberries, which are a popular fruit in Norway and most of Scandinavia. They work in their home making the Lefse with a contraption they call their Willy Wonka Lefse making machine. They churn out between 300 to 400 lefse a day and send deliveries all over the nation. They started their business in 1995. Helen H. Richardson, The Denver Post (Photo By Helen H. Richardson/The Denver Post via Getty Images)
