The tourism industry is the key sector of Croatia's recession-hit economy and it makes up around 18 percent of its gross domestic product (GDP). Croatia was Europe's first country to open a commercial naturist resort -- the Koversada camp in the northwestern Istria peninsula, that this year marks its 50th anniversary.
